The 7 Feasts of a Highly Effective God explores in detail the hidden meanings behind these sacred days. What if Jesus actually already fulfilled all 7 Feasts? Modern teaching says He only fulfilled four so far, really? Also, do the 7 Feasts actually contain the full Gospel Message? We will explore these topics in detail using Luke 1-3, we will also go through John, Acts, and Hebrews with this view in heart and mind.
Leviticus 23 contains all 7 Feasts. Hanukkah, also known as the Feast of Dedication (John 10), came later in Bible history. In Leviticus 23 we see the 7 Feasts, also known as Holy Convocations, listed in the order of Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Weeks, Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Tabernacles. They are listed in chronological order as they first occurred in the Bible. Moses and the children of Israel experienced the first four upon leaving Egypt.
We will soon discover that the virgin conception of Jesus occurred on Hanukkah, nine months later Jesus was born during the two day Feast of Trumpets, which celebrates the Hebrew New Year’s Day at the start of 7th Month of Tishri/Ethanim. Ethanim means Gift in Hebrew. Eight days later He was Circumcised on the Day of Atonement, fulfilling the Promise made to Abraham. He dwelt/tabernacled amongst us without sin for 33 years for Tabernacles/Booths, He was then our Passover Lamb, then in the Tomb for Unleavened Bread i.e. without sin for three days and three nights like Jonah, He was Resurrected on First Fruits, which is actually not Easter Sunday, it is actually a Tuesday, the Third Day of the week in which God saw it was good twice during the Creation account in Genesis, also being the first day of the week of week 1 of the 7 weeks of Weeks, in which Jesus appeared to many giving proof of His Resurrection during the 49 Days of the Feast of Weeks, then we have Pentecost, Day 50, Freedom Day, a Jubilee Day in a Jubilee Year. The chains of sin and death are both broken!!!
We weren’t left as orphans, He sent the Helper, the Holy Spirit the day after He completed His 7 Feast Work. The 7 Feast Work of Jesus equals our Eternal 7th Day Sabbath Rest, His Work=our Eternal Rest, this is the true meaning of the Sabbath Commandment. Remember the Manna from Heaven in Exodus 16? Twice as much Manna from Heaven was given on Friday, the sixth day. Why? So the people of God could have their 7th Day Sabbath Rest. Jesus, the Manna from Heaven i.e. Bread of Life, was crucified on Good Friday, the sixth day, so we could have Eternal Sabbath Rest. Oddly enough, or I should say perfectly enough, using the Hebrew lunar calendar used in the Old Testament times, since Passover is always on Nisan 14, and always a Saturday, the Messiah was crucified on Friday the 13th. Remember in the Old Testament the 7th Day was a Day of Rest. The 7th Year was also a Year of Rest. The land was not farmed in the 7th Year. Imagine having the whole year off, because God provided all you needed in the sixth year, the “Good Friday” year. We will be using the NASB translation throughout this book. The Bible will be in Times New Roman font. Commentary is in Calibri font. If you have been preaching the full Gospel, then you are already familiar with the 7 Feasts, you just didn’t realize it. A good foundational statement for this book is: The Old Testament is Jesus concealed, the New Testament is Jesus revealed.
